The youth today have too much going on. That means, in order to save time, an athlete may be tempted to cut corners. This creates inconsistencies in their training regimen. Be sure that your child follows through with all the laid out steps. Allocate enough time for the workout and training.

You need to involve a training professional. Have them draw up a plan that ensures your child has quality workout sessions. The workouts should be efficient. Meaning, they should focus more on quality than they do on quantity.
3. Vary the training
This is the only way you improve. If your child runs the same number of laps in the same time every day, they will eventually develop endurance but only to a certain level. They will hit a plateau. They need to vary the training. Different speeds, routes, drills, speedwork and warm downs all go into making them a better, faster athlete.
